The Allied Arts announced a 2.6 million dollar goal for the 2008 annual campaign. The Allied Arts officially kicked off their 2008 campaign at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum.  Leading the fundraising efforts this year is campaign Co-chairs, Dr. Kay Gobel, PHD. and Fred J. Hall, Ceo, Fred Jones  Companies.  Allied Arts works in a partnership with twenty member agencies to foster a life-long passion for the arts.  Allied Arts  also serves as a champion for the arts and cultural organizations in central Oklahoma such as Ballet Oklahoma and The Oklahoma Philharmonic.
