The Flaming Lips are a rock-alternative band that has evolved over the years. During the last twenty years the Flaming Lips have released eleven albums including one compilation album.  Theses albums include such hits as, “Do You Realize”, “Race For The Prize”, Free Radicals” and “The Wand”. They discuss their fame and their devoted fans at a dedication ceremony in Oklahoma City. An alley in downtown Oklahoma City’s Bricktown District was named after the group.    Wayne Coyne, Steven Drozd and Michael Ivins were on hand for a meet-and-greet with fans. Mick Cornett, Mayor of Oklahoma City, presented the The Flaming Lips with a sign naming the new alley, and also presided over the ribbon-cutting.
