distinctly Oklahoma was able to interview and see Graham Colton live at VZDs in Oklahoma City.  Graham recently became a Universal Republic Records recording artist, and his first major label solo album is entitled “Here Right Now.”  This chart-topping album includes the song “Best Days,” which was introduced to the world on “American Idol.”  Graham Colton has also made appearances on such national television shows as the “Regis and Kelly Show” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” as the musical guest.
Despite his fast rise to the top, Graham has not forgotten where he came from.  Recently he co-hosted an event in Oklahoma City for Andrew Rice (who is running for State Senate) with Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne.  Graham Colton was born and raised in the Oklahoma City area and attended Heritage Hall School where he was a very talented quarterback.  He and his friend Wes Welker, currently with the New England Patriots, were able to lead Heritage Hall to the 2A state football championships in 1998.
