Celebrities put on their dancing shoes for the “2010 Children’s Miracle Network Dancing for Kids Star,” a gala evening in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Competitors included Alli Dial, CMN 2008 Oklahoma Champion Child; Kayne, Project Runway contestant and designer; Scott Hines, KFOR Channel 4 reporter, defending his 2009 CMN Dancing for Kids Star title; Jessi Stone, Magic 104.1 radio personality; Mike Turek, owner of Old Germany restaurant; and Shereka, a Thunder Girl. Jessi Stone, who received the most votes or donations from the public, danced her way to the award podium. Special entertainment was provided by Oklahoma Rodeo Opry sensations Kyle and Amanda Earhart, and even a special appearance by Rumble, the OKC Thunder mascot.
